Rummage will automatically index and tag your files and documents. From Rummage’s user friendly interface you can easily locate files. Rummage is free software (consider making a donation).

The Rummage setup wizard will invite you to show your social side and connect to Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or Outlook. The Rummage setup wizard will inform you that it will look through your documents, identify how they are related to you, index and tag everything it finds. You can opt for the Advanced Configuration and tell Rummage where to look. Or you can opt for the Quick Start or Full Index options. Please note that Full Index is the recommended option. The indexing process may take a bit of time to complete. But once it’s done, once everything is indexed and tagged, you will be presented with a user friendly and easy to navigate interface. And from this interface you will be able to easily locate files. Whatever file you’re looking for, Rummage will help you quickly locate it. Rummage is free software.
